So on top of a new baby, John and I have more on our plate for this summer...
In August, our new little family will be moving to Nebraska. Yes, you heard me right, middle of nowhere Seward, Nebraska.
Why? John was offered an amazing opportunity at Concordia University - Nebraska. In the fall he will be working on his masters and assisting the baseball coach as a graduate assistant. So, not only will John have his masters completely covered, but he will also be working towards his dream job, which is coaching at the college level.
So, we need to get the house ready to sell (and sell it) by August. If you know anyone looking for a VERY CUTE house in Milwaukee, with a great location just minutes from both 45 and 94 - very convenient, send them our way. Let's make a deal!
Also, if you have any job leads for me in the Lincoln area, let me know! (I'd prefer not to stay at Starbucks, but if it comes down to insurance I'll have to stay there.)
As for Maggie, she's doing very well. We're all slowly getting used to the new schedule (which isn't much of a schedule at all). Feedings are a little rough, but hopefully we get it one of these days.
I'll be home until the beginning of July, so if you're in the area, give me a call! I think everyone is so worried about bothering me, that NOBODY comes to visit! I'll keep you updated on Maggie and the move.

I can't believe that Maggie weighed almost 8 lbs at birth! I want to squeeze her, gently of course! Well, at least Nebraska and Colorado will be closer than Wisconsin and Arizona! I am coming home in mid-July, see you then!
I/we might just have to be there everyday until you move just to be able to take full advantage of grandparental rights. She's gorgeous!

she's adorable jess. Congrats. Im glad everything went well for you. Kudos to the new mommy! good luck with the move and everything. if you need some baby girl onsies and what not i have some that are brand new (wonder why!?) so let me know.

Yay Jessica, you will be closer to me now! Maybe we will get to see each other more than once every few years! Chris has lots of family in Nebraska and we are there to visit often. I will see if any of them know of any job opportunities for you! I can't wait to see you!

Those eyes! She is perfect! I can't wait to meet her, I will be home for the 1st and 2nd week in July so will have lots of time to spend with Maggie. Looking forward to seein you! Love you to the moon and back!!!
