Maggie Anne
The labor was a little long - 25 hours from the time my water broke until we finally heard her first cry. She had a little trouble breathing at first, which I guess is common after the 2 1/2 hours of pushing, and had to be given oxygen. It was more of a kick-start for her than a serious emergency, and she was weaned off the oxygen around 4am and brought to our room.
I was very proud of John, the guy who gets queasy when he sees someone get a paper-cut, he watched the entire birth. You can ask him what he thought of that.
Maggie and Hardy met today when we came home from the hospital. I think it will take a little while for the transition, but so far Hardy has been pretty good (besides one attempt to jump into the pack and play with Maggie).
I also apologize in advance. I'm already turning into that crazy mom who feels the need to have her camera around her neck for all those cute faces.
